The Petra Mirror by East Wing Studio is inspired by the language of stone, sun, and sea, and takes its name from the Greek word Petra, meaning stone… a quiet nod to the sun-worn landscapes and coastal cliffs of the Aegean.

The Greek key frame feels like an ancient coastal structure, softened and worn smooth by time as though it has lived outside for years, shaped slowly by sun, salt air, and coastal wind. It carries that feeling of everything being slightly aged in the most beautiful way, nothing too polished, just gently shaped by time.

There’s a beautiful weathered quality to it, not distressed, but softened, holding that sense of imperfection that makes it feel honest and lived in… where nothing feels new, but everything feels right.

With Love,

“I wanted this to feel like sun-worn stone and softened edges… nothing too perfect. A piece that just settles in, like it’s always been there… Like stone steps that have been touched endlessly by bare feet, that imperfect calm you only really find in older spaces.” Julie - Founder & Furniture Designer

FAQs

Where is the best place to hang The Petra Mirror?

The Petra Mirror works beautifully in entryways, living rooms, bedrooms and above consoles or sideboards. Its sculptural design makes it a statement piece that can enhance both small and large spaces while helping reflect natural light throughout the room.

Can The Petra Mirror make a room feel larger?

Yes. A well-positioned mirror can help create the illusion of greater space by reflecting light and surrounding views. Positioning it opposite a window or in a naturally bright area can maximise this effect.

What furniture pairs well with The Petra Mirror?

The Petra Mirror pairs effortlessly with console tables, decorative objects and designer lighting to create a balanced interior. Explore the Tables & Plinths collection, Objects collection and Lighting collection for complementary pieces.

How should I care for The Petra Mirror?

Clean the mirror glass using a soft microfibre cloth and a suitable glass cleaner applied to the cloth rather than directly onto the mirror. Dust the frame regularly and avoid abrasive cleaning products to help preserve its finish.
